Terms Of Service and Refund Policy

Authorization/contact agreement
The client is engaging Design By Tara as an independent contractor for the specific project of developing a web site, graphics or modifying an existing web site.

Changes and Additions
Before any work is started, we will contact client to review specifications of the job. Any changes request by you after an initial quote has been made may be subject to additional charges. Additional work requested will be considered as a separate job and will be billed according.

Completion Date
Design By Tara and the client will work together to complete the web site in a timely manner. Design By Tara agrees to complete the web sites in a timely manner once all information and materials are received by Design By Tara. We must have all needed data to begin a project. If the client fails to provide any requested information in a timely matter, the completion date may be changed.

Payment of Fees
All design work completed or in progress remains the legal property of Design By Tara until the full payment is received. Once full payment has been made, the client shall retain legal ownership of all contracted work.

A deposit of equal to 75% of the quoted fee is due before any work has been started. The remaining 25% is due with three days of completion. If the remaining balance is not paid within three days, Design By Tara reserves the right to remove any and all work and the client will forfeit the entire deposit. If after collection attempts, the said client has not complied, Design By Tara will fine a civil claim in the county of Camden in the state of Georgia. The client will be required to appear in the state of Georgia. If the client is not present, a judgment will be given in default.

Upon default of payment, any balances due will be sent to a collection agency and the said client will be responsible for all balances due and collection fees.

Cancellations and Refunds
Client may cancel any work within 24 hours for a full refund. Once design work has commenced, the initial deposit of 75% is non-refundable.

If at any time the client wishes to cancel after the design work is complete NO refund will be given.
These terms are written under Georgia law and any client wishing to do any business with Design By Tara, must agree to the terms and conditions.
